Ian Wright’s Specs

Glasses are constructed according to Ian’s face 3D scan. The idea is to have photosensible lenses so they can have also sunglasses look. The shape is sporty as well. Contest was organized by MyMiniFactory and Floreon3D. Floreon3D is company that is making bioplastic filaments for 3D Printers that is fully recyclable. MyMiniFactory is website that gathers designers and 3D printing guys. 

The model is prepared as STL one shell, watertight. There are 3 models Left Temple, Right Temple and Frame. Because of different 3D Printers and materials there are two main versions with gap and without gap on temple and frame. Since hinge was not fully checked there are also two variations on hinge cavities. So one frame has cavity the other don’t.

Frame: 138,9mm x 38,8mm x 19,1mm

Temple: 128,8mm x 39,2mm x 12,5mm
